Following Jesus can often feel frustrating or futile, but through the life of Peter we see what it looks like to have faith in Jesus and to follow him.

In Jesus we have a Savior who is with us, helping us through all of life’s difficult circumstances.

Summary: Jesus reveals to us through Peter that true discipleship is not defined by our failures but by our faith in his love and that those who love him will follow him to the end.

Jesus is the ultimate revelation to us that God is good and that he is for us, no matter what circumstances that we face in life.

At the heart of the Christmas story is the declaration that a King has been born. Each of us is invited to wrestle with what it means to live under his rule.

The gospel calls us to radically reconsider all our relationships, seeking to lift others up in the spirit of unity and love. This includes dismantling the walls of hostility that often exist between men and women.

As image-bearers of God, woman have full access to all positions of leadership in both society and the church.

No matter how powerful or popular we are, or strong and successful we look we all have the sickness of sin that will destroy us, even if we think we can hide it from others. But if we humble ourselves before God and trust His word by faith, we can experience healing and new life in Him.

As followers of Jesus, we’re called to embody the good news of the gospel that God’s kingdom has come to help the poor, claim justice and freedom for the oppressed, and to proclaim God’s favor on humanity.

Baptism can be transformational if we understand the spiritual reality that God is revealing to us through this physical re-enactment; that we are a new creation and Jesus is renewing His creation through his resurrection and his resurrected followers until he returns.
